Peachey & Co LLP advised a private overseas investor in the sale of the former Citibank House, Strand, London WC2, for £40m to Grupo Urvasco, the luxury Spanish hotel developer, to create a new Silken Hotels apartment complex, with £83.6m funding from Banco Bilbao. The sale involved difficult corporate, planning and development issues.
