Experience:
Commercial – all aspects of international and national company and commercial law, partnerships and trusts from incorporation to insolvency including corporate restructures.
Oil & Gas – including joint ventures, negotiating with relevant governmental departments, farm-ins, JOAs, sole risk and all aspects of upstream and downstream both onshore and offshore.
Employment – extensive experience of drafting and enforcing contracts of employment; very regularly advising with regard to termination of employment including compromise agreements and redundancies; advising with regard to TUPE as well as employee incentive schemes; advising on cross border issues and employment in inward investment context.
Insolvency- all aspects of insolvency whether corporate or individual; from hiatus period, pre-pack to corporate rescue; advising creditors and directors as well as insolvency practitioners.
Litigation – acting for claimants and defendants – both mediation and litigation. Extensive work in international context and cross-border litigation matters, shareholder disputes and contractual claims of all sizes.
Other – advising on wide range of matters including property, banking, shipping and intellectual property.
Languages:
Conversational French.

Undertakes in-house seminars on a range of issues including contract, employment and education.
Hubert is Chairman of the Governing Body of The Judd School, Tonbridge and on the Court of the Skinners’ Company.
