June – Peachey & Co LLP acted for B + H Ocean Carriers (USA) in its acquisition and acceptance of delivery of the MT: Capt Thomas J Hudner Jr (ex: Akritas) a 1990-built double-sided 45,000 dwt product tanker from Ionia Management of Greece.
June – Peachey & Co LLP advised Menzies Distribution Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of John Menzies plc) on its acquisition of Grays Newsagents (York) Limited, including merger control procedures under the Enterprise Act.

April – Peachey & Co LLP partner David Wilson attending the delivery of mt "Maribel" (a 75,000 dwt Panamax product tanker) at BrodoSplit shipyard, Croatia; the latest addition to the Marinvest managed AB fleet, a long standing client of the firm.
April – Peachey & Co LLP acted for Menzies Distribution Limited in connection with the OFT's merger control investigation of Menzies' proposed joint venture with Eason & Son Ltd in Northern Ireland under the Enterprise Act. The OFT cleared the proposed merger in April 2007.

April – Peachey & Co LLP acted for Valhalla Oil & Gas in its "farm out" agreement with Island Oil & Gas whereby it has agreed to take a 20% interest in the "Old Head of Kinsale" gasfield where drilling is expected to commence in May this year.

Valhalla's has significant petroleum interests in the UK, both offshore and onshore and offshore Ireland.
